  • Shape a result before reading it: the estimated row count, the token cost of the whole result and how many rows fit, before anything is sent.
  • Size the answer to the AI’s budget: only the columns it needs, empty columns dropped. Whole rows are kept, and anything left out is reported.
  • Long text is trimmed with a marker, and the full value is one call away.

  • Data-quality report. Empty and blank rates, format consistency, duplicate keys, outliers and a leading-digit check on amounts, ranked by severity.
  • Anomalies. Spikes and level changes in a value over time.
  • Segments. Natural groups of similar rows, each with its size and profile.
  • Compare. Whether two groups really differ, with the test used, its p-value and the size of the effect.

Veelgestelde vragen over MCP-servers

Moet ik poorten openen of een VPN gebruiken?

Nee. De netwerkagent draait binnen uw netwerk en opent één enkele uitgaande, versleutelde verbinding met mcp.querystreams.com — Verzoeken en resultaten worden in beide richtingen verzonden via dat ene, door de agent geïnitieerde kanaal. Uw AI-client maakt verbinding met de cloud, nooit met uw database, dus er is geen inkomende poort, geen statische IP-whitelist en geen VPN. Dat is wat een database op een kantoorlocatie in staat stelt om een AI-client thuis te beantwoorden. De agent draait op een laptop, een virtuele machine, lokale hardware of elke cloud die uitgaande HTTPS toestaat.

Staan mijn databasegegevens in de AI-configuratie?

Nee. Alleen een herroepbare MCP-sleutel (een token) en de cloud-URL worden in de clientconfiguratie opgenomen. Uw AI-client bewaart nooit een database-login. Query's worden uitgevoerd op de Network Agent binnen uw netwerk; alleen versleutelde verzoeken en resultaten passeren de Query Streams en er wordt niets opgeslagen. U kunt een sleutel op elk gewenst moment intrekken via het portaal.

Does my AI client see my rows?

Only what fits, and only what it asks for. Your Network Agent reads the whole result next to your data, inside your network. Only the answer and the rows a user asks to see are sent back, sized to what your AI client can read. A shape, a profile or an analysis sends a summary instead of rows, and the rows stay home.

What is a held result?

A result your AI client asks to keep. Your Network Agent holds the complete result inside your network for a limited time, so follow-up questions are answered from it with no second database query: filter it, group it, sort it, join two held results, page through it or take a sample. Query Streams’ servers never store those rows. A held result is released when its hold time ends, when your AI client releases it, or when someone clicks Clear held results on the Data Agents page. Held results are part of Result analysis, on Personal Core and up.

Hebben mijn gebruikers een Claude- of ChatGPT-abonnement nodig?

Wat gebeurt er als de AI probeert gegevens te schrijven of te verwijderen?

De netwerkagent voert elke query door een vastgelegde, alleen-lezen validator voordat deze uw database bereikt. SELECT, MET en UITLEGGEN worden geaccepteerd; al het andere (INVOEGEN, UPDATE, VERWIJDEREN, DRUPPEL, WIJZIGEN…) wordt afgewezen. De validator draait op de agent, niet in de cloud, dus kan deze niet worden omzeild door een gecompromitteerde cloudomgeving.

Welke abonnementen omvatten de MCP-server?

Every plan, including Free, and the Free plan never expires. Free gives one key, 30 calls a minute and up to 1,000 rows per query. Paid plans add keys, calls a minute and rows per query: 2,500 on Personal Core, 5,000 on Personal Plus, 10,000 on Business Core, 25,000 on Business Plus, 50,000 on Business Max and 100,000 on Enterprise. A year of daily sales for 20 stores (7,300 rows) comes back to your AI client in one query from Business Core up. Which plans include the Analytic toolset?

Personal Core and Personal Plus include Context management and Result analysis, with held results of up to 128 MB per agent, held for up to 15 minutes. Business Core, Plus and Max add Deeper analysis, with held results of up to 512 MB for up to 60 minutes. Enterprise holds larger results for longer: up to 4,096 MB per agent, held for up to 8 hours. Does this change the Free plan?

No. The Free plan works as it always has: MCP, the REST API, federated queries and alerts, with the same results as before. Your keys and connected apps keep working as they are, with nothing to reconnect. Paid plans add the Analytic toolset on top.
