Connect AIQuery Streams is a secure, real-time database integration platform that enables you to share live ERP, CRM, and WMS data with external partners through Excel and Google Sheets – without giving them system access, credentials, or network permissions. Learn more at QueryStreams.com and sign up for free to start sharing Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, Sage, and other SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL-based enterprise system data securely in minutes.
Every business running Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, Sage, Manhattan WMS, and other enterprise systems faces the same challenge: external partners, suppliers, customers, and contractors need real-time access to specific data, but you can’t give them direct system access. The traditional approach – scheduled reports, manual exports, or creating expensive user licenses – creates bottlenecks, security risks, and outdated information. Query Streams transforms this by connecting directly to your ERP database (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB) and streaming live, filtered data to partners through familiar tools like Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
The Enterprise Data Sharing Nightmare
Whether you’re running Microsoft Dynamics 365, Epicor ERP, Infor CloudSuite, Sage X3, Manhattan WMS, or any other SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL-based enterprise system, sharing data with external parties creates the same problems:
Expensive User Licenses
Each Dynamics 365, Epicor, or Sage user license costs $100s-$1000s annually. Creating accounts for external partners is cost-prohibitive.
Manual Report Factory
Your team logs in daily, runs reports, exports to Excel, and emails files. This consumes 3-4 hours daily and creates a bottleneck.
Stale Data
By the time partners receive yesterday’s report, the data has changed. Scheduled exports are immediately outdated.
VPN Complexity
Giving partners VPN access creates security vulnerabilities, requires IT setup, and still doesn’t solve the licensing problem.
Real-World Scenario: Manufacturing Supplier Collaboration
Consider “Advanced Manufacturing Corp,” a company running Microsoft Dynamics 365 for their core ERP operations with a SQL Server backend. They work with 15 key suppliers who need real-time access to production schedules from their Dynamics 365 Manufacturing module, material requirements calculated by Dynamics 365 Master Planning, quality metrics from their Dynamics 365 Quality Management system, delivery performance data from their logistics systems, and inventory levels for components and finished goods.
The traditional approach requires Advanced Manufacturing’s team to log into Dynamics 365 daily to run various reports, export data to Excel files, email 15 different files to 15 different suppliers, answer follow-up questions about data accuracy, and repeat this process multiple times per day for urgent requests. This consumes 3-4 hours of staff time daily and provides suppliers with data that’s already outdated by the time they receive it.
The Query Streams Solution
Query Streams transforms this entire process by connecting directly to your enterprise system’s database and providing partners with secure, self-service access to live data through Excel and Google Sheets add-ons. Here’s how it works:
Connect to Your ERP Database
Install the Query Streams Agent near your Dynamics, Epicor, or Sage database. Secure, outbound-only connection.
No Firewall ChangesCreate Partner-Specific Queries
Build SQL queries that pull exactly what each partner needs. Auto-detect filters for interactive controls.
Row-Level SecurityShare by Email
Enter partner emails in the portal. They get instant access via Excel or Google Sheets add-on.
No Training RequiredMaintain Complete Control
Partners never see credentials, SQL, or schema. Revoke access instantly. Full audit trails.
Enterprise SecurityThe Query Streams Agent installs on-premises or in your cloud environment and establishes a secure, outbound-only connection to your database without requiring firewall changes or open ports. Using the Query Streams visual query builder, you create SQL queries that pull exactly the data each partner needs. Query Streams automatically detects filter parameters and creates interactive dropdowns, so the same query can serve multiple suppliers by simply changing the filter value. Partners never see your ERP credentials, SQL code, or database structure – you control exactly which data each partner can access, and you can revoke access instantly through the Query Streams portal with complete audit trails.

If your enterprise system runs on SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB, Query Streams can connect to it and enable secure data sharing with external partners through Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Contact us if you don’t see your system listed – we’re constantly expanding our compatibility.
The Excel vs Google Sheets Divide
Most enterprise systems have built-in Microsoft Excel support but virtually no native Google Sheets connectivity. Microsoft Dynamics 365 includes an Excel add-in but no Google Sheets support. Epicor ERP has Excel export/import built-in but no Google Sheets integration. Sage X3 offers native Excel connectivity but no Google Sheets option. Manhattan WMS provides Excel reporting as standard but Google Sheets is not supported. TGI Enterprise 21 has Excel integration available but no Google Sheets connector. Infor CloudSuite offers Excel export functionality, but Google Sheets requires manual workarounds.
This creates a significant challenge for organizations using Google Workspace or partners who prefer Google Sheets. Teams are forced to use Excel even when Google Sheets is their preferred tool, or they must manually export data from Excel and import it into Google Sheets – a time-consuming process that defeats the purpose of real-time data sharing. Query Streams bridges this gap by providing native Google Sheets connectivity for all supported enterprise systems. Whether your ERP has Excel integration or not, Query Streams gives both you and your external partners the choice to work in either Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with the same live data access.
This matters for partner collaboration because many partners and suppliers use Google Workspace exclusively and prefer Google Sheets for collaboration. Google Sheets works seamlessly across devices and operating systems without software installation, making it ideal for remote teams. International partners often prefer Google Sheets where Microsoft Office licensing is expensive. Multiple partners can work with live ERP data simultaneously in Google Sheets for real-time collaboration. And partners don’t need Microsoft Office licenses or specific Excel versions to access your data.

Implementation Roadmap
Phase 1: Assessment and Setup – Begin with a database assessment to identify your enterprise system’s database type (SQL Server for Dynamics, PostgreSQL replica for Salesforce, etc.). Deploy the Query Streams Agent in your environment with network access to the database, then establish secure connectivity between the Agent and your ERP database through connection testing.
Phase 2: Query Development – Work with business stakeholders to identify key data points and define what data partners need. Create partner-specific queries by building SQL queries that pull the right data for each external partner. Configure interactive filters so partners can customize their data views without seeing the underlying SQL.
Phase 3: Partner Onboarding – Share queries by granting access to specific partners through the Query Streams portal. Partners install Query Streams add-ons for Excel or Google Sheets. Provide brief training sessions showing partners how to run queries and adjust filters.
Phase 4: Monitoring and Optimization (Ongoing) – Use usage analytics to monitor which queries partners use most frequently. Fine-tune queries for faster execution through performance optimization. Expand access by adding new partners and data sources as needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with our Dynamics, Epicor, or Sage system?
Yes. Query Streams works with any enterprise system running on SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB. Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, and Sage all use SQL Server. Infor systems use SQL Server or PostgreSQL. Oracle database support (for SAP HANA, Oracle ERP, NetSuite) is coming soon.
How do we ensure partners only see their own data?
Query Streams includes row-level filtering built into SQL queries. A supplier query includes “WHERE supplier_code = ‘SUPPLIER_A’” so that partner only sees their data. You can also use interactive filters that auto-populate based on the user’s access.
Can partners modify or write data back to our ERP?
No. Query Streams provides read-only access only. Partners can query and view data but cannot modify, delete, or write back to your enterprise systems. This ensures complete data integrity and security.
What if our ERP is cloud-hosted?
Query Streams works with cloud-hosted systems. Deploy the Agent in the same cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for optimal performance, or connect from your on-premises network if you have hybrid connectivity.
How does this compare to building custom APIs?
Custom APIs require months of development, ongoing maintenance, and technical integration for each partner. Query Streams provides immediate access through Excel and Google Sheets – tools partners already know. No development time, no partner technical requirements.
Can partners choose Google Sheets instead of Excel?
Yes! Unlike most ERP systems that only support Excel export, Query Streams provides native add-ons for both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Partners choose their preferred tool with the same live data access.
What about data governance and compliance?
Query Streams includes comprehensive audit trails showing who accessed what data when. All connections are encrypted, no credentials are shared with partners, and you can revoke access instantly. This often provides better governance than manual report distribution.
