How often can I sync data from SQL Server to Smartsheet?

Query Streams supports sync schedules from every 5 minutes to custom intervals. For most use cases, daily or hourly syncs provide a good balance between data freshness and system resources.

Is my SQL Server data secure during sync to Smartsheet?

Yes. Your SQL Server credentials remain protected within your network through the Query Streams Agent. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS, and your Smartsheet API token is stored securely. Query Streams never stores your raw database data.

Does Smartsheet SQL Server integration work with cloud SQL Server services?

Yes. Query Streams supports all SQL Server variants including Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Amazon RDS for SQL Server, Google Cloud SQL for SQL Server, and self-hosted SQL Server instances (2016, 2017, 2019, 2022).

Do I need special SQL Server permissions to use Query Streams?
