What your Network Agent does for you

Your AI client can tell you what changed between two runs of the same query. Your Network Agent compares two results it is holding, matches rows on the key columns, and returns four counts, example keys and a one-sentence summary. The two result sets never leave your network.

A key present only in the later result is added; only in the earlier one, removed; in both with any other column different, changed. Both results must be held on the same agent; see follow-up questions. To see the values behind an example key, your AI client asks a follow-up on either result.

Why it is on paid plans: these are analyses a chat client cannot do by reading rows. Your Network Agent runs them over the result it is holding, inside your network, and gives your AI client the groundwork to reason about: counts, scores, tests and examples.

The Free plan works as it always has. Paid plans add the Analytic toolset. Free is a plan you keep: MCP, the REST API, federated queries and alerts, with the same results as before. Plan names and prices are on the prijspagina.

How to ask

added, removed, changed, unchanged: Row counts, matched on the key columns.
samples: Up to 20 example keys of each kind, so your AI client can name examples and follow up on them.
key_cols: Which columns were used to match rows.
summary: One sentence the client can quote, for example “Matched on sku, warehouse: 42 added, 7 removed, 1,318 changed, 5,113 unchanged.”

What it does not help with

Both results must still be held, on the same agent. An expired result has to be run again, which captures the data as it is now, so plan the second run before the first expires.
It compares two snapshots, not the history in between.
Without a good key, a changed row looks like one removed and one added, and a key that is not unique inflates the changed count.
For append-only data with a timestamp, changed-since is the lighter way to see what is new.

Grenzen

One to 32 key columns. The two results need the same columns.
Up to 20 example keys per kind.
The comparison stops after 30 seconds; narrow both queries and hold them again.
The results must still be held: 60 minutes on Business plans, up to 8 hours on Enterprise.

Instellingen

On the Deeper analysis card on the Context tab, de Analysis tools list sets which analyses your AI clients may run; switching Diff off there refuses it for every key. A key’s own Analysis tools setting can narrow it further, and a connector’s AI results settings can turn analysis off for that connector.

When your AI client says no

When the server refuses, your AI client receives a code and one sentence, and usually relays it. Quoted sentences are the server’s own words; the parts in italics stand for the ids a real message names.

`MCP_AGENT_ANALYSIS_DISABLED`	“analysis is switched off for the connector behind result {result id}; a workspace admin can allow it on the connector’s AI results settings.”	An admin opens the connector under Gegevens → Gegevensagenten and allows analysis in its AI results settings.
`MCP_RESULT_EXPIRED`	“one of the results {result ids} is not held (it expired, was released, or is unknown here); call qs_result_windows for the current list, or run the query again with hold.”	Run the query that produced the missing result again with hold, then ask again.
`MCP_WINDOW_SQL_REJECTED`	“the analysis could not be expressed over the held result (a column named is not in the result, or its type does not fit the analysis).”	Name a column the held result has, of the right kind for the analysis.
`MCP_WINDOW_QUERY_TIMEOUT`	“the analysis over the held result did not finish within 30 seconds and was stopped; narrow the result (a WHERE clause on the original query, fewer columns) and hold it again.”	Hold a narrower result and ask again.
`MCP_AGENT_NIET_VERBONDEN`	The Network Agent that owns the connector is not connected right now.	Open Gegevens → Gegevensagenten and start the agent on its computer.

Your AI client holds the price list before and after the import, diffs them, and lists the changed items with their old and new prices from a follow-up.
